This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to sub-divide and give a patta in the petitioner's favour for the building Door No.696/1, LMW Road, Periyanaickanpalayam, Coimbatore North, Coimbatore District - 641 020.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

3. The petitioner has given an application for effecting sub-division and issuance of patta for petition mentioned property. The learned counsel for the petitioner categorically asserted that there is no civil dispute involved in the property in question.

4. The application was given as early as on 15.02.2022. The 2nd respondent is directed to hold an enquiry and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. It is made clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
