The Learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner has made a fresh application giving his correct place of birth as Thanjavur in his passport and he has made an endorsement to that effect, which is recorded. 2.

Mr. J. Madanagopal Rao, Learned Central Government Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondent submits that the said application would be processed and the decision taken shall be informed to the Petitioner in due course. Nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter.

Petitioner is still aggrieved, it is certainly open to him to pursue appropriate remedy for the same in the manner recognized by law. No costs.
