Respondent Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the application dated 14.06.2019 and reminder dated 23.07.2020 and to issue community certificate to the petitioner and his daughters viz., 1.D.Swarnalakshmi and 2.D.Bhakeyalakshmi that they belong to Kurumans (ST) community based upon the community certificate already issued to the petitioner's own brother V.Krishnamoorthy dated 25.11.2017 in proceedings No.R.Dis.41/2017/A1 by the order in W.P.No.39664 of 2016 dated 14.11.2014.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner made an application on 14.06.2019 followed by reminder dated 23.07.2020 seeking issuance of community certificate for himself and his daughters to the effect that they belong to Kurumans (ST) community. As the said application followed by reminder are still pending consideration, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3. Taking into consideration the pendency of the application, we direct the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the same within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
