Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd and 3rd respondent to consider petitioner online application dated 12.05.2022 for Sub -Division and transfer of patta for the property in S.No.84/1, 0.08.50 Ares, 0.21 cents, situated at Pallikaranai Village, Sholinganallur Taluk, Pending on the file of the 3rd respondent within a reasonable time frame fixed by this Honourable Court.

O R D E R

The learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission that the petitioner submitted an on-line application for subject of patta transfer on 12.05.2022 and for the past about 1 year, petition is kept pending without any valid reason.

2. No doubt, the authorities may be overburdened on account of the other duties. However, all these patta transfer applications are also to be disposed of systematically without causing any undue delay, since it would effect the property right of the petitioners. In view of the fact that the petitioners submitted an application on 12.05.2022 though on-line mode of application, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the application submitted by the writ petitioner on 12.05.2022 and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible. It is need less to state that the 3rd respondent is empowered to ask the petitioner to produce all relevant documents for the purpose of disposal of his application.
