The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the legal heir of the late A.Paramasivan, who was the appellant in Crl.A.No.1311 of 2022. Following the death of the said A.Paramasivan on 01.03.2026, the present petition has been filed seeking to grant leave to the petitioner/legal heir to continue with the appeal.

2. Satisfied with the reasons stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner for filing this petition, leave is granted and this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands ordered as prayed for.

3. Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendments in the main appeal.
