Writ petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ or order or direction in the nature of Writ, directing the respondent to finalise the assessments for the assessment years TNGST 2002-03, 200304, 2004-05, 2005-06, 2006-07 respectively, in the light of the law laid down by the Hon'ble Tax Bench of this Hon'ble Court in TC(R) No. 837 of 2006 and batch of cases dated 04.01.2013 and refund the disputed tax, additional tax, surcharge paid by the petitioner under protest.

COMMON ORDER Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw these writ petitions and has also submitted a letter dated 12.09.2016 before the Registry seeking to withdraw these petitions. Learned counsel has also made an endorsement in the writ petitions.

In view of the submission of the letter dated 12.09.2016 to the Registry and in view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petitions are dismissed as withdrawn.
