Respondents PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 25.09.2013 and 15.10.2013 with regard to the request of the petitioner to promote the petitioner as B.Ed Assistant (Tamil) Teacher in the 4th respondent's School and dispose the same in accordance with law.

By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner is working as a Secondary Grade Teacher in the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4th respondent's school, a minority Educational Institution. According to her, she possessed the qualification for being appointed to the post of B.T. Assistant (Tamil). It is the case of the petitioner that a vacancy arose in B.T. Assistant (Tamil) in the 4th respondent's School. The petitioner made a representations dated 25.09.2013 and 15.10.2013 to the respondents to consider her promotion to the post of B.T. Assistant (Tamil). Now the petitioner seeks for a direction to the 4th respondent to pass orders on the representations dated 25.09.2013 and 15.10.2013 on merits and in accordance with law.

3. In view of the narrow prayer made, a direction is issued to the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 25.09.2013 and 15.10.2013 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
