O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Cr.No.8/AC/2008/CC-V dated 19.12.2008 on the file of the 1st respondent police.

2.When the matter is taken up today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that the petitioner is not an accused in the concerned case in Cr.No.8/AC/2008/CC-V dated 19.12.2008. He would further submit that the respondent after completion of investigation had filed the final report seeking to close the FIR with liberty to take departmental action and the learned Principal Special Judge, Chennai by order dated 12.08.2011, while allowing the closing of FIR had granted permission to take departmental action against the petitioner/accused.
