Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of mandamus directing the respondents 4 to 8 to introduce a transparent system of counselling for admission of students in the Management Quota of Engineering Colleges on par with the NEET examinations conducted by the All India Medical Council, in order to eradicate the collection of lump sum of capitation fee by the Self Financing Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu and to make ensure that meritorius students or candidates getting admission in the Engineering colleges and all over India and also thereby directing the respondents 1 and 2 to monitor the collection of capitation fee by the Self Financing Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu.

[Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.,] After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to pursue his remedy administratively in the form of representation to the concerned Statutory Authorities and has also made an endorsement in the writ petition to that effect. 2.

In the light of the same, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Liberty sought for by the petitioner, is granted. No costs.
