These petitions have been filed (i) to substitute the legal heirs caused due to the death of the appellant and (ii) to permit the legal heirs of the deceased appellant to contest the appeal in Crl.A.No.573 of 2016.

2. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of these petitions, both the Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions are allowed.

24.04.2023 Lpp Note : Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendment in the cause title in the main Criminal Appeal.
