O R D E R

This revision arises against the order of learned Special Judge cum Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chengalpattu, passed in Crl.MP.No.125 of 2016 on 24.03.2015.

2.The petitioner moved Crl.MP.No.125 of 2016, seeking return of property i.e, medicinal drugs seized under Drugs and Cosmetics Act. Such Act contains provisions for confiscation and also destruction under Section 31 and Rule 58(A) of the Act post conviction.

3.Learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the final report in this case has been filed as early as in the month of February 2016 before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chengalpattu.

4.Under the circumstances, this Court considers it appropriate to dispose of the criminal revision, with a direction to the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chengalpattu https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to consider the final report and in the event of taking cognizance, to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible, in any event not later than four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above observation, this criminal revision is disposed of.
