The prayer sought for herein is to extend the time for completion of Arbitral Proceedings and passing an award by the Hon'ble Tribunal until 31.12.2019.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for both sides.

3. The mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal was expired on 04.03.2019, within which time, already the arbitration proceedings has almost concluded, the award has been reserved by the Arbitral Tribunal. Therefore, the reasonable extension is required in this matter to pass the final award.

4. Considering the said factual matrix made by the learned counsel appearing for both sides, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate of the Arbitral tribunal for the further period of six months from 04.03.2019, within which period, it is expected that the arbitration proceedings would be concluded and final award would be passed.
