Prayer : Writ Petition (Criminal) filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 6th Respondent to take appropriate action in accordance with the proceedings dated 05.01.2026 in Na.Ka.No.15616/K4/2025 issued by the 1st Respondent, and in compliance with the directions laid down by the Honble Madras High Court in Periya Elayaraja Vs. The Director General of Police and 17 others (W.P.No.23993 of 2015) decided by Honble Justice S.M.Subramaniam and consequently direct the Respondents to implement the said proceedings within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking a direction to the sixth respondent to take appropriate action in accordance with the proceedings dated 05.01.2026 in Na.Ka.No.15616/K4/2025 issued by the first respondent and in compliance with the directions laid down by this Court in Periya Elayaraja Vs. The Director General of Police and 17 others in W.P.No.23993 of 2015 and consequently, to direct the respondents to implement the said proceedings within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Heard Mr.M.Vivek Bharath, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.R.Ganesh Kumar, learned counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 6, Mr.S.Vijayleshath, learned counsel appearing for the respondents 7 & 8, Mr.A.Sarangan, learned counsel appearing for the respondents 9, 11, 14 & 15 and Mr.A.Lokheshvaran, learned counsel appearing for the respondents 12 and 13. Perused the materials available on record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the sixth respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the counter parties, if any, and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition (Criminal) stands disposed of. No costs.
