ORDER
This Criminal Petition has been filed to quash M.C.No.21 of 2014, pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mayiladuthurai.
2. Heard, Mr.A.G.Rajan, learned Counsel for the petitioners and Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the second respondent.
3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that, if https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
notice is ordered to the first respondent, there are every possibilities of the parties arriving at an amicable settlement, before the Mediation Centre. Instead of issuing notice to the first respondent, to come all the away from Nagapattinam to Chennai, it will serve the interest of justice, if direction is given to the Judicial Magistrate-I, Mayiladuthurai to refer M.C.No.21 of 2014 before the local Mediation Centre, to explore the possibilities of parties arriving at a settlement.
4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
