The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent police not to harass the petitioner as well as their family members and consequently direct the 1st respondent to monitor the case and file periodic reports before this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's son has involved in three theft cases and that is the reason why the petitioner's father was called for enquiry. Therefore, it is incorrect to state that the 2nd respondent police harassed the petitioner. However, as on date, in all the cases, investigation is completed and charge sheet has been filed and all the cases are pending before the XVII Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet, Chennai, as against the son of the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
