..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation sent by the petitioner to official E-mail dated 11.06.2021 requesting to extend the operating time of Optical stores till 5 p.m. Since the optical shop is considered as essential health services. ORDER

The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a mandamus directing the respondents to consider his representation with respect to extension of business hours of the Optical stores till 5.00 p.m.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the relief sought for herein has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

3.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
