Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner representation dated 29.01.2015 made to respondents for reinstate the petitioner with all other consequential benefits.

Heard both sides. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner was appointed as Shop Salesman in TASMAC. According to the petitioner, due to his ill health he could not attend his job for a period of four months. Hence, he was not allowed to join duty on his return after four months. In this regard, he submitted a representation to the second respondent, which was forwarded to the first respondent and the first respondent has inturn directed the second respondent to reinstate the petitioner if no other departmental proceedings is pending against the petitioner. But, till now, no orders have been passed. Hence, in this regard, the petitioner once again submitted a representation dated 29.01.2015 to the respondents and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.In view of the limited prayer made in the writ petition, this Court without expressing anything on merits, directs the second respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 29.01.2015 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
