ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the 1st respondent to appoint a qualified Graphologist to examine and compare the truthness of the signature in the forged promissory note filed in O.S.No. 339 / 2002 pending on the file of Learned I Additional Subordinate Court, Coimbatore and submit the report to the Learned I Additional Subordinate Court, Coimbatore. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

3.Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that already an Advocate Commissioner was appointed to collect the report and the documents. The qualified Document Experts of the respondent department examined the disputed signatures and an opinion was handed over to the Advocate Commissioner on 06.07.2022 itself and that would be the reason for non-appearance of the petitioner.

4.The submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents is recorded. Since there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
