The petitioner, who is an accused in Crime No.3020/2010, has approached this Court for a direction to the respondent police to complete investigation and file a closure report or charge sheet as the case may be.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

Today, Mr.R.Saravanan, Inspector of Police, Thudiyalur Police Station, is present before this Court.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that investigation has been completed and the case has been closed as mistake of fact, but the defacto complainant is not receiving the RCS notice.

5. Under such circumstances, the respondent police is directed to send RCS notice through registered post with acknowledgment Card to the defacto complainant and file the closure report before the jurisdictional Magistrate within a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the criminal original petition is closed.
