Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, after calling for the concerned records from the third respondent, quash the proceedings of the third respondent bearing Pension/Street Vendor/6804/2012 dated 8.5.2015 and consequently, direct the respondents to pay the pension to the petitioner at the rate of Rs.1,000/- per month from January 2013 onwards as per Clause 18(1) of the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers Social Security and Welfare Scheme, 2006. The learned Government Advocate, appearing on behalf of the respondents 2 and 3, submitted a letter dated 13.8.2015, submitted by the writ petitioner that the pension dues were settled in favour of the writ petitioner. The pension, as applicable, was paid with effect from 1.4.2013. Thus, the grievance of the writ petitioner has been redressed and no further adjudication is required in respect of the grounds raised in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
