By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims to be the owner of the property admeasuring to an extent of 0.40.5 Hectares at Hosur, Krishnagiri District, having purchased the same through a registered sale deed

dated 11.06.1984. The petitioner would further state that even when the said land was acquired, the acquisition proceedings were under challenge in W.P.No.18937 of 1993 and the writ petition was allowed on 14.08.2000 giving liberty to the authorities to initiate fresh action by following the provisions of the act.

It is the case of the petitioner that no fresh land acquisition proceedings took place and he has also submitted a representation on 15.05.2015 to the respondents praying for issuance of "No Objection Certificate" for the purpose of making mutation in the revenue records relating to the said land and since he has not been favoured with any kind of response, he came forward to file this writ petition.

4. Mr.V.Anandamoorthy, accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent and Mr.V.Subbiah, the learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the second respondent.

5. Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, without taking into consideration the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 15.05.2015 in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
