ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking a direction to the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.3851 of 2011.

2. Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner on 21.05.2011, a case has been registered in Crime No.3851 of 2011 for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 506 (i), 294(b) and 109 IPC. However, the respondent has not shown any interest to investigate the matter and lay a final report. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present petition for the relief as stated above.

4. Resisting the same, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that even though the matter was adjourned, he was not able to get instructions from the concerned Police Station.

5. Considering the submissions made on both sides and considering the fact that the case is pending for the past five years, the respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.3851 of 2011 and file a final report, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
