When the matter came up for hearing today, the second respondent/defacto complainant as well as the petitioners are personally present before this Court and identified themselves. The Voter ID cards of the petitioners as well as the defacto complainant are produced.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned counsel for the second respondent and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the first respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that pending proceedings in C.C.No.9451 of 2007 on the file of the learned https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, the second respondent/de-facto complainant and the petitioners have amicably settled the issue among themselves and the de-facto complainant has also filed an affidavit dated 17.01.2018 stating that she has no objection if the proceedings in C.C.No.9451 of 2007 on the file of the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore is quashed.

4.Recording the statements made in the Memorandum of Understanding dated 23.11.2017 and the submissions made by the defacto complainant in the affidavit filed by her dated 17.01.2018, the entire proceedings in C.C.No.9451 of 2007 on the file of the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore is quashed.
