By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner institution was granted recognition by the National Council for Teacher Education to admit 50 students for Diploma course in Teacher Education vide its proceedings dated 18.11.2005 and the students were admitted from the Academic year 2005-2006 as per the Government norms. Subsequently, the NCTE granted permission for additional intake of another 50 students vide proceedings dated 24.10.2006. The petitioner would state that https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
as per the orders of Government issued from time to time, the students belonged to Schedule Caste Community are entitled to get various scholarship subject to their eligibility and in respect of the students, who were admitted during 2011-12 and 2012-13, they were not granted with scholarship. The petitioner, in this regard, submitted representations dated 23.03.2013 and 22.05.2015 and since no orders have been passed, he came forward to file this writ petition.
3. Heard the submissions of Mr.S.K.Kamadevan, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Subbiah, the learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 2.
4. This Court, taking into consideration, the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 23.03.2013 and 22.05.2015 in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
