ORDER

This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to pass orders on the appeal, dated 04.03.2024 submitted by the petitioner within a time frame stipulated by this Court.

2. The petitioner filed the appeal, dated 04.03.2024 against the order of punishment, dated 26.02.2024, by which, the punishment of stoppage of one increment without cumulative effect for one year was imposed on the petitioner.

3. Learned Government Advocate for the respondents, on instructions, submits that it is true that the appeal is pending. The same will be disposed of within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. In view thereof, this Writ Petition is disposed of on the following terms :- 2/4

(i) The second respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal, dated 04.03.2024 on merits and in accordance with law within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order;

(ii) The second respondent shall also grant opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner to appear before him and represent his case; (iii) There shall be no order as to costs.
