Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents 1 to 3 to consider petitioner's representation dated 27.03.2024 and to take stringent action against the black market mafia and eradicate them from interfering in IPL cricket and also take action against the concerned authorities in M.A. Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai and Tamil Nadu cricket association who have failed to follow the rules and regulations in selling cricket match tickets and also issue immediate stringent directions to them to strictly follow all the rules casted upon them in conducting the IPL cricket matches in fair manner. (Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.A.Kalaiselvan, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr.Gautam S.Raman, learned counsel for the first respondent; Mr.A.Edwin Prabhakar, learned State Government Pleader, for the second respondent, Mr.Hasan Mohammed Jinnah, learned State Public Prosecutor, for the fourth

respondent and Mr.P.R.Raman, learned Senior Counsel, for the fifth respondent.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is about the IPL tickets being sold at higher rates and in black market. The petitioner has given a representation to respondents 1 and 3, on 27.03.2024.

3. Respondents 1 and 3 shall decide the representation of the petitioner on its own merits and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.

4. The writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
