Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.04.2021 to disconnect the power connection in service number 353 of 3rd respondent at Panjetty Village.

The grievance of the writ petitioner is that at the instance of the third respondent, the respondents 1 and 2 have constructed EB Pillar in front of the petitioner's house and EB cable is also passing underground by digging pits in front of the petitioner's house and due to the said Act, the petitioner apprehends danger on account of short circuit or electric shock.

Therefore, the petitioner made a representation dated 27.04.2021 to the second respondent to take necessary action, but so far no action has been taken and therefore, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing this writ petition.

2. Mr.P.Gunaraj, learned Standing Counsel who accepts notice for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 27.04.2021 would be considered and disposed of at the earliest.

3. Considering the limit scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on merits, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.04.2021 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording opportunity to the parties concerned including the third respondent.

4. This Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
