Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider the representation dated 06.12.2021 and 29.04.2022 and cancel the patta No.779 issued in favour of the 9th respondent pertaining to the property in Survey No.112/2 situated at Vinaitheeerthapuram Village, North Kattukottai, Kallakurichi Taluk, Kallakurichi District. O R D E R

With the consent of the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself. Considering the nature of relief sought for in the writ petition, notice to respondents 9 to 11 is dispensed with.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents. 3.The petitioner is aggrieved by the action of subdivisioning and issuance of separate patta in favour of the ninth respondent. Questioning the same the petitioner has filed an appeal before the third respondent.

4. The third respondent is directed to enquire into the petitioner's representations and dispose of the matter on merits and in accordance with law after notice to all the interested parties, pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
