Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ or direction in the nature of writ directing the respondent to pass orders on the appeal petition submitted by the petitioner dated 15.07.2009 against the punishment imposed in the disciplinary proceedings in Na.Ka.No.55713/E4(2)/98 dated 05.06.2009 within the reasonable time.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner made a submission that the order of punishment of stoppage of increment for one year without cumulative effect is under challenge in this writ petition.

2.However, the writ petitioner is no more and the learned counsel for the writ petitioner states that the legal heirs of the writ petitioner are not interested to pursue the writ petition.

3.Taking note of the above, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
