O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to give permission to conduct the cultural and dance program in the event of the festival of Vellaiyagoundanur Village Arulmigu Sree Mariamman Temple Festival at Tirupathur Taluk & District on 18.05.2022 between 6.00 p.m. and 11.00 p.m. based on the petitioner's representation dated 05.05.2022. 2.The function was scheduled to be held on 18.05.2022 between 06.00 p.m. and 11.00 p.m. The request made by the petitioner is said to have been rejected by the respondent Police on 10.05.2022. Considering the fact that the function was supposed to be held today and the time is already over, nothing survives in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. No costs. If the petitioner wants to conduct the function at any future date, it is left open to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the respondent Police and the same will be considered strictly in accordance with law.
