respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to provide kabasure Kudineer (one packet) to all the ration card holders in the state of Tamil Nadu at free of cost till the pandemic comes under normal conditions and also to conduct at least 4000 Siddha Medical camps throughout the entire state of Tamil Nadu with registered siddha medical practitioners by considering the petitioner representation dated 27.05.2021 through Email and representation dated 01.06.2021 through the post as expeditiously as possible.

ORDER
(made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner seeks a direction on the State to distribute some Ayush medicine that the petitioner perceives to be efficacious to resist the virus.

2. The petitioner says that the petitioner has made a representation on May 27, 2021, through e-mail and a representation by post on June 1, 2021.
3. The petitioner is permitted to make a direct representation to the Health Secretary, Government of Tamil Nadu, within a week from today. The Health Secretary will consider the representation and communicate a reasoned decision to the petitioner within six weeks of the receipt of the representation. At the end of the day, it would be a matter of policy and assessment of the efficacy of the product, based on scientific evidence, that should weigh with the State.
4. W.P.No.12964 of 2021 is disposed of without any order as to costs.
