ORDER

By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2024 to carry out measurement of RS No.1221/2, 3, 4, RS No.1214/6, RS No. 1221/1, 2, RS No.685/1, RS No.708/3, RS No.1219/1, 2A and 2B, RS No.1220/3A for an extent of 18.71 1⁄2 acres in Arachalur Village, Modakurichi Taluk, Erode District, fix boundary stones, based on his application to the respondent dated 11.06.2024.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has submitted representation to the respondent on 11.06.2024 for fencing of petitioner's lands measuring an extent of 18.71 1⁄2 cents in several survey fields situated in Arachalur Village, Modakurichi Taluk, Erode District followed by reminder letters dated 15.06.2024, 24.07.2024, 23.08.2024 has also paid necessary fees as early as on 11.06.2024. Thereafter, petitioner has submitted another representation on 26.09.2024, however, the petitioner's representations were not considered by the respondent, till date. Aggrieved by the same, 2/4

petitioner has filed this writ petition.

On this being pointed out, Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondent would submit that they would consider the petitioner's representation and carry out survey and fix boundary stones, at the subject properties within a time frame fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.

5. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent to carry out survey, place boundary stones and complete the process within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after giving prior notice to petitioner, adjacent land owners and other interested parties including rival claimants, if any. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
