The petitioner seeks relaxation in the condition imposed by this Court vide order dated 15.03.2023 in Crl.M.P.No.4052 of 2024 in Crl.A.No.1406 of 2023, that the petitioner shall appear and sign before the Special Court under the Prevention of Terrorism Act (POTA) (Sessions Court for Exclusive Trial of Bomb Blast Cases), Poonamallee, Chennai (trial Court) daily at 10.30 am until further orders. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the conditions imposed by this Court have been scrupulously followed by the petitioner herein and he is regularly reporting before the Special Court under the Prevention of Terrorism Act (POTA) (Sessions Court for Exclusive Trial of Bomb Blast Cases), Poonamallee, Chennai (trial Court). However, with regard to the condition imposed by this Court to the effect that the petitioner shall appear and sign before the Special Court under the Page No.1/4

Prevention of Terrorism Act (POTA) (Sessions Court for Exclusive Trial of Bomb Blast Cases), Poonamallee, Chennai (trial Court) daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders, the petitioner now seeks for relaxation of the said condition.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that that the petitioner is regularly complying with the conditions imposed by this Court on 15.03.2023. 4.It is represented that the petitioner is facing trial in another case before the Special Court under the Prevention of Terrorism Act (POTA) (Sessions Court for Exclusive Trial of Bomb Blast Cases), Poonamallee, Chennai and is signing before the said Court on the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month at 10.30 a.m. In the present case, the trial is before the Principal District Court, Salem.

5. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the fact that the petitioner herein is regularly complying Page No.2/4

with the conditions imposed by this Court, we are inclined to modify the order in the following manner:- "5.6(iii) the petitioner shall appear before the Principal District Court, Salem twice in a month (i.e.,) second and fourth Monday of every month at 10.30 a.m."
