Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the 2nd respondent Police to produce the petitioner's wife Aswini, before this Court from the illegal custody of the 3rd respondent.

O R D E R
(Order of the court was made by N.KIRUBAKARAN.J.,) The matter is heard through "Video Conferencing". 2.The petitioner has filed this Habeas Corpus Petition stating that his wife Aswini, the alleged detenue has been illegally detained by her father.
3.The petitioner would submit that he and his wife belongs to different community and due to love, they got married and got registered before the Sub-Registrar, Tiruvallur on 20.07.2020. However, based on the complaint given by the 3rd respondent/father of the petitioner's wife before the 2nd respondent dated 16.07.2020 in Crime No.2495 of 2020, the petitioner's wife was taken away from the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner lodged a complaint, but no action has been taken. Hence, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the petitioner.
4.When the matter is called today, the petitioner as well as his wife Aswini are present through Video Conferencing. The detenue would submit that she came along with her husband from Udumalaipet.
5.The petitioner's father Shankar is also present through Video Conferencing and he would submit that he has no objection for his son's marriage and he will take them with him after some time, as the family members are now not accepting the marriage of his son.
6.Since the petitioner and his wife got married and also registered their marriage before the Sub-Registrar, Tiruvallur and now reunited, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed. However, it is made clear that the 3rd respondent/father of the detenue shall not interfere with the life of the petitioner and his wife Aswini.
