Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to conduct an enquiry by considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.03.2025 and submit the report to the 1 st respondent and further direct the 1st respondent to lodge a criminal complaint to the 5th respondent for taking appropriate criminal action as against the perpetrators of the crime within the time stipulated as prescribed by this Hon'ble Court. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Considering the prayer, when we observed that petitioner has filed the writ petition within a week of making a representation, without giving

an opportunity to the concerned officer to look into the matter, counsel sought leave to withdraw the writ petition and file a fresh writ petition if no action has been taken within a reasonable period.

2. Petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty as prayed for. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the interim applications also stand dismissed.
