Respondent Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Indian Constitution praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 09.10.2015 of the petitioner for transferring him from the office bearing Code No.556 to the office bearing Code No.562 within the Coimbatore Corporation where the post of Food Safety Officer is lying vacant.

The petitioner is working as a Food Inspector /Food Safety Officer from 20.02.2011 in Thuvakudi Municipality. He has made a representation on 09.10.2015 requesting the respondent to transfer the petitioner to Code No.562 Division, where there is a vacancy. But the said representation was not considered till date. Hence, he came forward to file the present writ petition.
