The petitioner, who is elected as President of K.713 Venkatapuram Primary Agricultural Co-operative Credit Society, is challenging the Circular issued by the 1st respondent dated 22.03.2022 empowering the Secretary of the Society to sign the cheques.

2. When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.J.Ravindran, learned Additional Advocate General-IX assisted by Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's term as President of Board of Directors is already over and now, the Society is under the administration of the Administrator. Since the 2/4

petitioner is no longer holding the post of President of the Cooperative Society, the prayers sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous. However, it is made clear, in case, the petitioner is elected as President of any Cooperative Society in future, he is entitled to challenge the circular.

3. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
