ORDER

Heard Mr.G.M.Anantha Kumar, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

2.The petitioner was placed under suspension by an order dated 30.12.2013. He is employed as a Waterman in the respondent municipality. His narrow prayer is to consider his representation dated 28.8.2014 to revoke the suspension. His further request is to pay subsistence allowance during the period of suspension. 3.Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.8.2014, for revocation of suspension, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

A further direction is issued to the respondent to pay subsistence allowance to the petitioner from the date of suspension, if the subsistence allowance is not already paid. The arrears shall be paid within a period of four weeks, if not already paid and the respondent shall pay every month the subsistence allowance on or before 10th of every succeeding month till the passing of final order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.

4.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
