The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 465, 468, 471 and 420 IPC in C.C.No.695 of 2023 now pending before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Alandur in Crime No. 331 of 2019, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner is an innocent person and she has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) stated that the respondent after completing the investigation had filed a charge sheet which had been taken cognizance on C.C.No.695 of 2023. He also stated that the petitioner is shown as the absconding accused. Hence, he opposed this petition.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner had already filed anticipatory bail but it was dismissed by the Principal Sessions Court, Chengalpattu, Kancheepuram District on 16.03.2023.

5. But however since the petitioner is shown as absconding accused, it is only appropriate that she surrenders before the Judicial Magistrate No.2, Alandur. Therefore, the petition for anticipatory bail would not arise.

6. In view of this circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner herein. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
