The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 07.04.2024 by the respondent police for the offences under Sections 273 & 328 of I.P.C r/w 6(b), 24(1),7(1),20(1) of COTPA Act and Section 77 of the Juvenile Justice ( Care and Protection of Children) act, 2015 in Crime No.285 of 2024 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail. .

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is in possession of 560 kgs of banned tobacco products. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he pays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that there are 11 previous cases pending against the petitioner which are similar in nature. Hence, he prays to dismiss this petition.

5. Considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, accordingly this Criminal Original petition stands dismissed.
