The petitioners are serving as Assistant Surgeons (Dental) in Tamil Nadu Medical Service from 29.05.2009 & 08.05.2007 respectively and they have also acquired MDS degree in Paedodontist & Preventive Dentistry & Orthodontics during April 2015. Subsequently, the petitioner in W.P.No.15127 of 2017 was posted as Assistant Surgeon (Dental) in Government Hospital, Sirgazhi, Nagapattinam District on 25.04.2015 and thereafter he was transferred from Sirgazhi to Sivagangai as Assistant Professor (Dental).
Similarly, the petitioner in W.P.No.15128/2017 was posted as Assistant Professor of Dental Surgery in Sivagangai Medical College Hospital on 06.03.2015 and thereafter he was transferred from Sivagangai to Tiruvannamalai Medical College as Senior Resident in Dental Surgery on 17.02.2016. As they are working in mofussil, they are not able to get benefit of taking part in the first transfer counselling, which is exclusively meant for the Doctors working in the Chennai city. Therefore, they have given representations on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
14.09.2016 and 12.09.2016. As the same are not being considered, they have sought for a direction to consider the representations.
2.Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondent.
3.This Court, considering the limited prayer, without going into the merits, hereby directs the respondent to consider the petitioners' representations on merit and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.Accordingly, the Writ Petitions are disposed of.
