Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Forest Watcher with effect from the date of his juniors appointment on 24.01.1995 by considering the petitioners representation dated 18.07.2017 in the light of the order passed in W.P.No.15561 of 2006 dated 10.03.2008, W.A.No.690 of 2008 dated 13.10.2009, W.P.No.23374 of 2008 dated 30.10.2009, W.A.No.607 of 2010 dated 20.03.2010 and Letter No.19683/FR.2(II)/2016-4 of the first respondent dated 03.03.2017 with all consequential benefits.

2.Heard Ms.K.Jenitha, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Santhana Raman, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 3.Though the prayer sought for is large in nature. The https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner restricted the prayer to the extent of stating that it is suffice, if a direction is issued to the second respondent to consider the representation in relation to the promotion of the writ petitioner to the post of Forest Watcher. The writ petitioner is now working as a Social Forestry Worker in the Forest Department and he claims that some of his juniors were already promoted to the post of Forest Watcher. Pursuant to the orders passed by this Court in some other writ petitions in this regard, the writ petitioner made a representation to the second respondent on 18.07.2017 and the same is yet to be considered. 4.Without going into the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 18.07.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
