By consent of both the learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.
2. The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, directing the Respondents to consider the Petitioner's family pension application dated 17.12.2021 in accordance with the law by considering the Petitioner's explanation dated 20.01.2025 and pass orders on merits in accommodate with the law, within the period as may be prescribed by this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's husband has joined in Teaching Service on 27.08.1976 and on attaining the age of superannuation, he retired from service on 31.12.2002 as Secondary Grade Assistant. Thereafter, he died on 28.05.2021. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that she has already sent a representation on 17.12.2021 claiming family pension on the death of her husband Mr.M.Sankarlal.

At this juncture, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 2 to 4 would submit that there is a rival claim between the petitioner and one Balarukmani and would submit that to get a clarity, the Department wanted certain documents and vide letter dated 31.01.2025, the Authority has sent a letter to the petitioner to furnish those documents. However, the said documents are yet to be submitted before them. 3/6
6. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that she would submit the documents, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
7. If such documents is furnished within the above said period, the respondents are directed to dispose of the same and pass orders on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a further period of four weeks.
