When the matter was taken up, Mr.G.Sankaran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.M.Ramesh, learned counsel for the first respondent have jointly made a statement that the writ petition may be dismissed as abated, since the first respondent died during the pendency of the matter.
