27.07.2016 (Cont.P.No.943 of 2018) and W.P.No.28550 of 2016 dated 17.08.2016 (Cont.P.No.949 of 2017) respectively, by this Court under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971. For Petitioners :

Rajini Ramadoss (in all five petitions) ******* COMMON ORDER The learned counsel appearing for the respondent/Corporation has fairly submitted that the respondent has settled the amount in respect of the terminal benefits to the petitioners by complying with the directions issued by this Court in W.P.No.17375 of 2014 dated 16.06.2016 (Cont.P.No.879 of 2018); in W.P.No.28627 of 2016 dated 17.08.2016 (Cont.P.No.880 of 2018); in W.P.No.19283 of 2016 dated 08.06.2016 (Cont.P.No.920 of 2018); W.P.No.26208 of 2018 dated 27.07.2016 (Cont.P.No.943 of 2018) and W.P.No.28550 of 2016 dated 17.08.2016 (Cont.P.No.949 of 2017) respectively.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have not controverted the aforesaid statement of the Standing Counsel for the respondents/Corporation, but, however, he seeks liberty

regarding the payment of the entire terminal benefits to the petitioners. Therefore, it is open to the petitioners to seek remedy before the appropriate forum in respect of the disputed amount payable to the petitioners. Accordingly, he seeks liberty to move before the appropriate forum for claiming the disputed amount, if any.

Recording the aforesaid submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side, the Contempt Petitions stand closed with the said liberty.
