O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Emalias, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) and the learned counsel appearing for the H.R.& C.E. Department.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the H.R.& C.E., represents that the said temple has been taken over by the H.R.& C.E. and fit person has been appointed. He also represents that the temple festival was conducted from 24.07.2015 to 26.07.2015 successfully, without any problem by the authorities themselves.

3.At this juncture, it was brought to the notice of this Court that this petitioner claiming himself to be the President of Chambers Colony Village Progress Association, has earlier filed in O.S.No.34 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of 2015, before Additional District Munsif, Alandur, for a similar relief in respect of the same temple in I.A.No.64 of 2015 in O.S.No.34 of 2015. Learned District Munsif has passed a detailed order on 23.01.2015, dismissing the claim of this petitioner. Suppressing these facts in the affidavit filed before this Court, this writ petition has been filed seeking mandamus.

4. This Court takes a very serious note about the forum shopping that is being done by the petitioner. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed with cost of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) to be payable by the petitioner to the Legal Services Authority. No costs.
