By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.The first petitioner claiming to be an encroacher, was in possession and enjoyment of 2 1⁄2 cents of village natham in Survey No.392/7, admeasuring to an extent of 15 cents, in Then Mudiyanur Village, Thandarampattu Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District, and would state that the petitioners 2 to 3 are her children, and all of them have migrated to Chennai to eke their livelihood, and since there was no representation on their behalf, an entry was made in the village account in respect of the property, as "vacant natham" and the family of the first petitioner visited the village and came to know about the same and immediately, her husband submitted an application to the fourth respondent for issuance of patta, based on which, the fourth respondent submitted a report to the third respondent on 21.2.
2013; however, no action has been taken by the fourth respondent, and the first petitioner, in this regard, has submitted a representation dated 20.2.2014, praying for issuance of a house site patta in respect of the above said property, and since no response is forthcoming, the petitioners came forward to file this writ petition. 3.Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.Rm.Muthukumar, learned Government Advocate, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.This Court, without going into the merits of the representation, directs the fourth respondent to consider and dispose of the first petitioner's representation dated 20.2.
2014, in accordance with law, after putting on notice, the persons concerned, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the first petitioner as well as to the persons concerned. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
