ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to pass orders on the representation dated 21.12.2021, by taking action under the Maintenance and Welfare of the Parents and Senior Citizen Act, against the fourth respondent and allow the petitioner to withdraw the deposited amount in the Account No.711630286 under the third respondent.

2. The petitioner is a senior citizen. She had given a representation dated 21.12.2021 before the first respondent seeking action under the said Act. The first respondent is the appellate authority. The petitioner should move the original authority, namely the Revenue Divisional Officer. The petitioner is permitted to file a fresh petition before the jurisdictional Revenue Divisional Officer, who on receipt of such petition, shall pass orders on the said petition, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks thereafter. The jurisdictional Revenue Divisional Officer shall put all the stake-holders on notice before passing the final order. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the matter.

3. With the above liberty to the petitioner and direction to the jurisdictional Revenue Divisional Officer to pass orders, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
