2. The petitioner is before this Court praying for a direction to the respondent to pass orders on the petitions dated 27.7.2017 filed by them under Section 84 of the Tamil Nadu Value Added Tax Act, 2006.

3. The learned Government Advocate, accepting notice on behalf of the respondent, submitted that if the petitions filed by the petitioner are in order, then reasonable time may be granted to the respondent to pass orders on the said petitions.

4. It is seen that the petitions were sent by speed post on 11.8.2017. However, it is not clear as to on what date, the respondent received those petitions. In any event, this Court is inclined to issue appropriate direction.

5. Accordingly, the writ petitions are disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to submit one more copy of the petitions dated 27.7.2017 along with the copy of this order and appear in person before the respondent on the present the same. On receipt of the same, the respondent shall fix a date for personal hearing, hear the petitioner and thereafter pass a reasoned order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. No costs. Consequently, the connected WMPs are closed.
