(The case has been heard through video conference) The Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider representation of the petitioner dated 04.03.2021 within a time frame.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that, he is the owner of property in Survey No.42/M, Resurvey No.42/2B, Survey No.42/2, T.N.No.13, Block No.11, Old Door No.16, New Door No.87 in Chinna Chembarambakkam, Bangaru Reddy Street, Chennai for an extent of 990 sq.ft. Thereafter, he has applied for transfer of patta in his name before the 4th respondent. Subsequently, after surveying the land with the help of Surveyor, the 4th respondent had informed that he is only entitled for patta to an extent of 750 sq. ft.. In the said circumstances, the petitioner has made an application to the 3rd and 4th respondents to issue patta for entire extent of 990 sq.ft. But, so far, his representation was not considered and no order has been passed on it. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner.
3. Considering the limited prayer sought in the Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, the 4th respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass suitable orders on merits in accordance with law after hearing the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS-VIII) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar rpp To
